Sammantha- Jolie DiMaggio to play Midknight Rider?

Rumors have hit the net that Sammantha- Jolie DiMaggio, 20, will be playing the warrior Princess Alaila in The Midknight Rider set to release winter 2010, based on a very short lived comic, set in a magic kingdom that is cursed. Princess Alaila takes it upon her to fight demons, orcs, gnomes, goblins- you name it, as a masked Midknight Rider to protect her kingdom from her greed driven father and his dark lord second.
The student film actor will have to go through some more serious physical excercises and combat training for swords, daggers, bow and arrow, etc- along with horseback riding classes. Although DiMaggio has the physical background, she is an ex amateur surf competitor and did all her own stunts for the first two student made Spider- Girl films, she still has not accepted the role and refuses to speak of it at this time. So far DiMaggio has three films due 2010 excluding The Midknight Rider and studios insist that it is a matter of time in schedule when it comes to DiMaggio but they are determined to make DiMaggio their star.
DiMaggio' has yet to accept the offer but fans are already going crazy! "This would be the second comic based film Sammantha stars in and I love it," one fan has stated on an online poll. But as fans get out of control sources say that DiMaggio has no interest in accepting the part, "She doesn't want to play another hero based on a comic. She's a real versatile actor and she wants to do other types of roles," a close friend said about DiMaggio. I say it is only a matter of time until we find out if the film is set to release in winter of 2010 but I think I speak for everyone when I say- I don't mind watching Sammantha- Jolie DiMaggio kick ass once again!
